Now we get to Chapter 3, I want to thank everyone for all the positive reviews this story has received over the little time I posted it I really appreciated. Now without further to do Chapter 3 of The Winds of Change.

When your laughter subsided you wipe a tear from your face you turn towards your team,”OK guys let’s go to the mess hall I’m pretty sure we can get pancakes before Nora takes all of them” you said with a smile.

Rojo pale remembering all the time Nora took his pancakes from his plates without him realizing it,” Then what are we doing standing around then let’s go” he said ready to bolt to the mess hall.

“Ummm guys what are we going to do about that?” said Luna nervously pointing to the crack in the wall cause by your punch. You wince forgetting about that you started sweating because if Goodwitch finds about that huge crack in the wall you don’t want to imagine what she will do to you. You’re lucky enough no one woke up to investigate the noise it caused in the first place.

Marron whistle and then gave a smirk in your direction,” Well (F/N) what are we going to do? just imagine what Goodwitch will do to you maybe you’ll get a taste of her whip” she said mimicking whipping sounds making you shiver in fright.

You scramble to the drawers trying to find something to cover up the crack. You started throwing stuff out ignoring your team’s angry screams about their stuff being delicate. Then you find something that might work before grabbing some tape from your table and putting a poster of XRay and Vav. You sigh in relief since it covers the crack pretty well.

“Since when do you have a poster of XRay and Vav?” said Rojo examining the poster.

“Jaune gave it to me he said he already has one and I didn’t have a reason not to take it free stuff is free stuff” you said in a sagely voice.

Your teammates roll their eyes including Luna before you four walk towards the mess hall some people were already walking around, but you have the weird sensation people were staring at you. You looked around and you saw people turning away from you when you turn to look at them. You frown wondering what that was about.

You open the mess hall doors and the conversation in the mess hall stop everyone was looking at your team, but you especially.

“Umm guys why is everyone starring at us?” Rojo whisper, but all of you were confused as well.

“What you people have something to say?!” Marron Growl causing everyone to turn back towards their food and continue their conversation.

“Hey guys weren’t they looking at (F/N) more than us” Luna said rubbing her wrist giving you worry glances.

“Did you do something recently to get their attention (F/N)” Rojo said trying to think of a reason they were giving you weird looks.

“No,  nothing comes to mind the only big thing was the prank me and Yang pull on you, but most people didn’t know about that and they weren’t looking at you, so that’s not it.” you said frowning.

You guys walk towards the line and starting getting your breakfast you grab some pancakes and some orange juice considering that you lost some of your appetite. As you walk looking for a table you heard some of the words people were saying.

“Poor Guy” ”Haven’t you heard?” “Sucks to be him” you heard random people whispering causing your face to pale they aren’t talking about that are they?.

“ Hey guys over here!” you heard someone yell when you guys turn to look who it was it turn outs it was Coco from team CFVY.

You walk towards them ignoring the looks you keep receiving from the rest of the students causing you to grit your teeth in irritation. You sat down greeting team CFVY before angrily eating your breakfast.

“Whoa slow down there champ what’s got you so angry?” said Coco since it look like the pancakes wrong you in some way by the way you were angrily sticking you fork in them.

“Is the way people has been looking at me since I got out my dorm is really irritating me since I don’t know why everyone has been looking at me funny lately.” You said frowning still refusing to think that they now about you and Ruby since that happen only yesterday and only your team and team RWBY knows about that.

Team CFVY looked at each other uncomfortably and gave you pitying glances causing your blood to freeze, “You don’t know?” said Velvet softly.

“….Know what?” you said swallowing nervously. No there’s no way people know about that please tell me people don’t know about that you thought franticly.

“People have been saying that you and Ruby broke up because she cheated on you” Yatsuhashi said looking away from you. As soon as those words left his lips you crush the glass of orange juice in your hand causing CFVY to back up in surprise.

Luna quickly went to your side picking the glass stuck to your hand with her handkerchief scolding you for doing something so stupid. If you weren’t so in shock you would have remark that this is the first time you heard Luna Curse at anyone.

Marron saw you were ignoring Luna and she was getting worry since you were trembling she was about to speak before her and the rest of your team froze because of your tone,” How?!” she heard you hiss in anger.

“Not again” The rest of your teammates though in horror considering the last time you were this angry you almost look like you were going to punch Luna and considering how protective you are of your team especially her they were worry what you’ll do to other people who you care less.         

They were about to intervene before Luna pull you into a hug ignoring the looks she receive from everyone. You turn your glare at Luna and unlike before where she tremble at your glare she look at your eyes without wavering before speaking, “Please (F/N) this isn’t who you are “she said before hugging you tighter.

Your eyes were shadowed by your hair and when you lift your hand Coco look ready to intervene before her shoulder was grab by Marron she looked at her and she saw Marron shaking her head.

You reach towards Luna and when Coco was about to ignore Marron and jump at you. You patted Luna’s head causing Coco to freeze in shock.

“I did it again didn’t I?” you said with regret in your voice.

“Yeah, but you were able to snap out of it before you hurt anyone” said Rojo in relief. You saw Luna was still hugging you.

“ Luna is ok I’m fine now thank you for calming me down” you said Luna turn showing her blue eyes glistening with tears causing you to internally flinch for making her cry again. You send her a grateful smile which she gave you a small smile in return.

You looked around the room and saw people starring at you. You give them the same glare you gave Luna and they quickly turn away.

You just sigh before letting your head drop on the table in annoyance. Why and more importantly how? Did people find put about you and Ruby so damn quickly.

“What was that?!” said Coco giving you glare. You turn away from her glare ashamed that you let your anger control you again.

“You have to forgive our leader anything Ruby related is a very touchy subject for him” You heard Rojo said.

“Wait is true!” said Velvet in shock she always thought you two look cute together she never believe the rumor she heard because she never though that Ruby Cheating could ever happen.

“Yeah is true he found out yesterday when he went to their dorm and Ruby said she was cheating on him” growled Marron ruining the spoon she had in her hand since she crush it by squeezing it too hard. She looks at her spoon before sighing and getting up to get another one.

“I’m sorry to hear that (F/N) we didn’t think it was true” said Fox.

You wave your hand in dismissal,” No it’s fine I shouldn’t have snapped at you guys like that I shouldn’t have let my anger get the better of me”. You said while massaging the bridge of your nose with your hand.

“But the most important question is how did that spread so fast? that only happened yesterday and no one was there to see it” you said. The last thing you need right now is for people giving you pitying glances every time you walk around the school.

“Sorry we can’t help we overhead people talking about it on the way to the mess hall” said Yoshitsune giving you a sorry look.

Marron came back and saw the frustrated look on your face she sat next to you patting your back you gave her a grateful smile. Before your smile fell of your face when you heard a mocking voice calling you.

“Well, well if it isn’t the resident Faunus lover, I overheard some interesting rumors on my way here care to know what they are (F/N)?” you heard. You turn to look at the direction of the voice and saw Cardin Winchester and his mocking smirk.

You clench your fist and gave him a glare. Of course this asshole would be one of the people to find about you and Ruby is like the universe is declaring a special day to making you feel like crap.

“I heard miss rose petals has been cheating on you isn’t that sad I came over here just to make sure you’re alright” said Carding in a mocking tone before laughing.

“Cardin you have five seconds to leave before I wipe the floor with you and throw you in the Emerald forest” Marron growled one second away from ripping his head of his neck.

“I wasn’t speaking to you mutt I’m speaking to (F/N) over here please be quiet and go chase a bone or something” Cardin sneer causing Marron to almost tackle him before Rojo grabbed her to keep her from assaulting him and getting herself in trouble, but by the way he was glaring at him he was just barely holding himself from letting Marron go and joining her.

“Now as I was saying you’ll tell your old buddy Cardin if this rumor is true right?” he said in a fake concern tone. Making you see red, but you were barely holding yourself back from attacking him, but you know that’s exactly what he wants.

“Why so quiet?.....................  HAHAHAHAHAHA so it is true man this is just great at first I didn’t think the rumors were true but looking at your expression there’s no way it isn’t true HAHAHAHAHAHA.” Cardin Said and his mocking laugh kept washing over you until you felt something snap at the back of your head.

You stood up slowly causing Cardin to stop laughing,” What is it are you going to cry you Faunus Lover? I bet Ruby was having a great time screwing that guy behind your back” he mock before he saw that you was just standing still your hair covering your eyes.

“HEY DID YOU HEAR ME I SAID………….” He yelled before quickly stopping he put his hands in his throat because he was having trouble breathing. He saw that your hands were surrounded by (F/C) wind.

“Hey Winchester did you know that if someone were to take the oxygen of a specific area where a person was standing that person will have trouble breathing?” he heard you said. The thing that scared Cardin the most wasn’t the sudden loss of breath not even your deathly calm voice it was your eyes they look so lifeless so cold seeing this caused him to shiver in fright he tried to run but your eyes cause him to be paralyze in fear.

“Now Imagine if a huntsman has the ability to control let’s say wind for example” you said as you calmly walk towards him ignoring his gasp for breaths. The rest of the students were frozen in horror too afraid to move an accidently cause you to turn your anger on them.

“That hunter would be capable of doing some very scary things I mean if I knew someone like that I would do my very best to not piss them off I mean is common sense” you said in a fake cheerful voice ignoring the screams of the students and the pleading of your friends.

“Can you imagine Suffocation, the creation of vacuums, plasma and liquid nitrogen/oxygen, sound manipulation, concussive wind blasts, a nigh-impenetrable wind shield and the list goes on and on are you following me so far do you need to take a breather to catch up.” You said looking at him in a fake worry tone.

At this point Cardin was looking a little blue some of the students were starting to run of the dining hall trying to get away from you.

“Now something you didn’t know about that rumor was that something incredible happen I happen to discover my semblance that day as well as you can imagine I was pretty piss finding my Semblance in that way but hey what can you do right?” you said shaking your head in a ‘what can you do’ fashion.

“Well as you can probably guess my semblance so happens to be wind manipulation of course I can’t do all the things I describe just yet maybe in the future, but this little trick your experiencing even if it is a little Aura consuming is a very handy thing to have and guess what you’re the first person I tried it on. I didn’t think it was even possible thank you for volunteering to help me test it” you said while patting him on the back.

You were going to say more before you felt something tackle hug you from behind you stumble forward, but was able to catch yourself before falling. Accidently letting go of your semblance causing the air to come back around Cardin he swallow a ton air trying to breath before coughing.

You turn to glare at the person stupid enough to get in your way before your eyes open in surprise before squinting in absolute fury, since the person hugging you was Ruby herself.

“What do you think you’re doing?”  You said hissing at her you saw your team with the rest of team RWBY they were all looking at you in shock and horror. Blake drop her book not even attempting to pick it up horrify that this is the same person that helped her whenever she needed someone to talk to.  Weiss couldn’t believe this was the same person that gently talked to her in the rooftop the person that said he will be there for her whenever she needed help. Yang couldn’t believe this was the same person that always helped with her pranks and even laugh at some of her puns the same boy who work so hard with her trying to unlock his semblance and  to be reduce to……..that hurts her more than she can imagine.

“Please (F/N) stop this isn’t who you are please go back to the kind (F/N) that I know and love, to the you that’s always laughing, to the you that always tries to make people smile ” she said begging you holding you in a tighter hug burying her head in your back

“Ruby Rose you have some nerve telling me this after what you did” you growl. This girl has the nerve to tell you that after all she did to you that you just go back to the way you use to be either she’s deluded or she’s beyond stupid.

You turn around grabbing her shoulders, “RUBY GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!” Yang yell she was about to rush in before she was stop by Rojo,” NO DON’T YOU’LL JUST MAKE IT WORSE!!!” he yell the last thing he wanted was for you to lose control of your semblance and hurt everybody,” LET ME GO I WON’T LET HIM HURT MY SISTER!!!” she yell trying to escape from his grip.

You turn to look to see Rojo holding Yang while Luna was holding Weiss and Marron was holding Blake. You turn to look at the trembling Ruby who was hiding her face in your chest.

You pull her back and look straight into her eyes. You flinch at the pain you see reflected in those eyes. You Grit your teeth in anger since why are you worrying about her now after all she’s done?

You shake your head and move your hand towards her head. The rest of team RWBY were trying desperately to shake of your team to help their leader.

“Please stop (F/N)” She whispers at you. You saw her Silver eyes shedding tears those same Silver eyes that you used to love to get lost in. Those Silver eyes that used to look at you lovingly. Those same Silver eyes that you use to beat anyone that cause them to shed a single tear are now tearing up because of you.

Your hand froze before reaching her head you blink feeling something wet sliding down your face. You move your hand towards your face feeling your tears in your cheeks. You looked around the remaining students huddle in the corner of the room looking at you in fear, Cardin still trying to get air back at his lung, your team holding back team RWBY, and the way Yang/Weiss/Blake were looking at you not like a friend but a threat.

“Your one of the most important people to me (F/N) not many people will forgive my past and consider me someone worth knowing” you remember Blake saying giving you hug when you found out about her past.

“You said you were my family I’ll hold you to that (F/N) (L/N) but that’s both ways if you ever need my help don’t hesitate to ask me” You remember Weiss saying after her party with a huff and looking away embarrassed.

“Of course I trust you with my sister I seen the way you protect and fuzz over her when she gets sad. Besides I know you’ll never do anything to hurt her” You remember Yang saying with a soft smile in contrasts to her usual smiles.

You than look at your hand (F/C) wind moving wildly and out of control and follow to where they were going to grab and saw the heart-broken Ruby.

Your eyes widen in horror you were just one second away from…….from……

You back away from Ruby holding a hand to your mouth feeling like you were going to throw up.

“Ruby……I’m sorry……I wasn’t……..i didn’t” You tried to say before you felt like you were having a panic attack.

Team CFVY who were frozen tried to speak causing you to flinch and you ran away from the mess hall.

“ (F/N) WAIT!!!” you heard your teammates scream letting go of team RWBY and chasing after you.

You kept running, you don’t know where but you know you don’t want to be here. You ran so fast you didn’t notice you ran pass Goodwitch who was going to the mess hall because of what the students who ran away told her you were doing to Cardin.

But you turn the corner before she was able to call you. The rest of your teammates try to keep up with you, but they soon lost you and they had no Idea to where you were running.

Well that was......unexpected you unleash your semblance and were about to accidentally kill Cardin.........don't know if I should feel bad or not. Anyways look forward to Chapter 4 in the future.
